Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how OutleyAI (“Outley,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit outley.ai, use our services, or communicate with us, including by SMS or text message. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information directly from you when you submit forms on our website, request a demo, subscribe, opt in to SMS, or otherwise interact with us:
- Name (first and last)
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
- Company or organization name
- Any other information you choose to submit through web forms, messaging, or support requests
We also collect limited technical information automatically (such as device type, browser, IP address, and pages visited) through standard logging and cookies in order to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Outley service;
- Send you SMS and text-message communications you have opted in to receive, including service updates, account notifications, appointment or demo confirmations, and other messages directly related to your relationship with us;
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- Process transactions and send related information;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. SMS / text-messaging consent and data sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
This means your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in status, and your consent records are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information only with subcontractors who help us deliver the service (for example, message delivery providers, hosting providers, or customer-support tooling) and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services on our behalf.
4. How you opt in and opt out of SMS
Opt-in. You opt in to receive SMS messages from Outley by submitting your mobile number through a web form, by checking an SMS-consent checkbox during sign-up, by texting a keyword to our number, or by otherwise explicitly agreeing to receive text messages from us. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
Opt-out. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the details below.
Message and data rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How we share information
Outside of the SMS-specific restrictions described above, we share personal information only:
- With service providers and subcontractors who process information on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, message delivery, and customer-support tooling), subject to contractual confidentiality and use restrictions;
- When required to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Outley, our users, or the public; or
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require any successor to honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we either delete it or anonymize it. SMS opt-in records and consent history are retained for as long as required by applicable law and carrier program requirements.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, or to receive a portable copy of your information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP, as described above.
9. Children
Outley is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. International users
Outley is operated from Canada. If you access the service from outside Canada, you understand that your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in Canada and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice).
